This weekend teams of filmmakers can be seen all around the area as they compete in the 48 Hour Film Project.
Each team received their “theme” (eg. romance, horror, etc.) on Friday night at 7 pm and they have 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit their film to submit it for the deadline on Sunday.
48 Hour Film contests are held throughout the world, and the winner in Punta del Este might end up with their film being shown at the global competition in France.

Good luck to all the teams!
